Called "the first true stand-alone production centrifuge in miniature", the Lavin Laboratory Centrifuge Model L2 provides quiet, dependable, low cost separation of small particles at a cost comparable to ordinary test tube centrifuges.
With its compact size and precision performance, the L2 is ideal for pilot plants, chemistry laboratories, biology laboratories, and pharmaceutical R&D's. Forget the endless hours of decanting and scraping test tubes. The L2 eliminates all of these hassles.
The L2 comes standard with an adjustable stainless steel feed rack with a feed tank funnel and a throttle valve for convenience, as shown on the left (secondary funnel is optional). The L2 connects into a standard 115V outlet. Optional 230V models are available.
The versatile L2 is available with many options including glidecoat, Halar or fluorocarbon coatings for strong solvents. #316L stainless steel construction is also offered for the most extreme conditions. Interchangeable 4" and 6" bowls are also avaialble for use with different size applications. The bowls can be perforated and used in conjunction with our migrating screen and fitler bags for separation and drying of filtrates. The versatility of the model L2 makes the number of different application limitless. Custom modifcations are also available.
